Knaresborough Celtic Official Grassroots Football Club are looking for a small team of volunteers to help out with the running of the café at Thistle Hill at the weekend.

Hot dogs, bacon butties and a brew is a much loved and welcome refreshment for our football families to keep them warm whilst they watch their children play on a chilly day. ☕️🥓

It's such a great community, a fantastic group of volunteer football coaches and other key personnel and we would love to welcome more volunteers to our team to support the running and upkeep of our café.

If you can help us on a Saturday/Sunday, morning/afternoon, then please get in touch ⚽️

Tonight we will be having the Knaresborough celtic Xmas raffle draw. The draw will be happening in the Knaresborough Inn and anyone is welcome to come down and join the Friends of Knaresborough Celtic team who will be there from 7:30
We’re aiming to broadcast the draw live on Facebook from about 8.

Knaresborough Celtic Official FC is looking for volunteers to cook and serve refreshments on match days from their café up at Thistle Hill. Depending on who and how many volunteers come forward, they can look at various ways of how the volunteers are rostered to cover the opening hours.

No connection to the club is required and you don’t even need to have an interest in football. They are looking for volunteers who can provide their football community with a tasty bacon butty or hot dog and provide a warm welcome to supporters and players.

Your club needs you!

This year will sadly be the last for Liz running our wonderful cafe at Thistle Hill. You will all know what a success it’s been in keeping players and supporters fed and watered, and it’s a critical source of income to the club

We therefore need one or more people to help take the cafe forward from next season and would ask you to help if you can.

Some key points
- the role can be shared so it won’t be the responsibility of just one person
- all training would be given
- you can get together with some friends to come forward or on your own and we can be very flexible in discussing how we take it forward
- you get free drinks and bacon sandwiches for yourself 😁 (I’ve just made that up now so apologies liz if you didn’t)
