Me and Steve began working on a new project with Marko this week, who we know via Dylan Ward.

Marko came to us to record a song which we have played on stage with him live alongside Dylan many times.

February was a busy month for the studio: Morals came down to put the finishing touches on their debut EP 'How's Your Miserable Life', Goodnight Vincent began work on a new EP, and me and Steve started recording some of my new original songs!

I have room to take on some more projects in March, so if you are interested get in touch!

PS: Dylan Ward, who I worked with last year, will be releasing his debut EP 'Misunderstood' this month. In support of the release, he is playing a headline show at Polar Bear on Saturday 23rd March. Me and Steve will be joining him on stage to help recreate the EP live. Tickets are still available, I will leave a link below!

I am now offering artists the opportunity to come and do a demo recording with me in the studio, with a view to booking something more extensive such as engineering your tracks or offering full production services, while minimizing the risk on your end. It is also an opportunity for me to figure out what your project requires, which may include things like pre-production, hiring out session musicians, restructuring the songs etc, which I can factor into my quote for your project. Eastmount is a home studio based in Hull, which features both a live room for recording, and a control room for mixing. The services I offer are Mixing, Engineering and Production.

I can utilize my skills as a multi instrumentalist and contribute parts to your track (Guitar, Keys, Mandolin, Harmonica etc), as well as help you with the structure of your songs to make them the best they can be. I also have a talented and versatile drummer available for hire at a reasonable fee if the situation calls for it, and I can work with you remotely online too. Some of my mixing work can be heard on Soundcloud.

Been spending a fair amount of time outside this week building acoustic foam panels and DIY Bass Traps. The plan is to install them in what is going to become a control room, primarily for mixing and mastering. The dog contemplating destroying them in the pics is called Nova. She is a menace.

Plus gigs at Green Note in Camden, The Adelphi in Hull, and The Bull and Sun in Bridlington! :D

I've had a great time working with Goodnight Vincent on their upcoming EP 'Don't Lose Your Soul' this last month. It is the first major project I've taken on outside of my own music, so it was a new challenge for me, but very rewarding. I'm looking forward to hearing these songs live at the Adelphi later this August (I may be joining them on stage for a few too!)
