When making a short film for a competition that has to be really short in length, as in 1 or 2 minutes short, planning everything meticulously is key or you'll find yourself going way over your time limit.

Here's the storyboards I created for GRAB alongside the final film, which gives a good example of the planning involved for both the shots I needed to capture and the timings for the final edit!

10 years ago, I (Joe) was standing at a fence at night looking out into the dark and my mind started playing tricks on me. If turned into the script for a film, but with a group of kids getting scared instead of me!

This was a HUGE project for us to take on and we put everything into it. We had great young actors in Jade, Mathew and Kane, plus a fantastic supporting cast. Callum scored hauntingly beautiful piece of music, and I was pleased with the script I'd written.

It took us over a year to make and, what was supposed to be a half hour short, turned into 45 minutes.

But that didn't out off the horror fans over on YouTube. We still can't believe how many views it's got and is still still getting!

We learned so much making this film - especially what not to do in the future!
Thank you to everyone who has watched it and supported us all these years!

10 years ago we created this little music video for Just Jimmy and his song 'You Should Know', which was written in the memory of his father.

Jimmy had a hard relationship with his dad, who had problems with drink, so he wanted the video to reflect that. Together we came up with the idea of a dad looking back at the good times with his young son after a terrible argument with him

It was good fun making a narrative as part of the video and everyone enjoyed getting involved - even though Jimmy felt very self-conscious filming in town with people watching him!

I wonder what ever happened to Jimmy? 🤔

Our first music video was for our friend Steve (4-Eyez) and the song he made when he found out he was going to be a dad - Diary of a Pregnant Dad

That was 10 years ago. His kid, Dylan, is now 10 years old. That is super crazy!
