It's always a good time at De Montfort Hall in Leicester. I've been super slack with updating this (even more than usual) but it turns out driving a tour on top of mixing it is pretty tiring.

In the best case scenario touring is really, really fu***ng hard, you sacrifice a lot. In the worst it's utterly miserable. The biggest difference between the two is the people you tour with. I've been so fortunate that the last few tours I've done have been with the absolute best people. People I genuinely love.

I'm with Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners until early June and have some availability for the summer before I go out again in September. Ideally I'd like to fill that gap with some recording/mixing work and a few live gigs but would definitely consider some kind of tour in that period.

Coming up on halfway through this run of dates with Ben Thompson and another unusual mix position at The Concorde Club last night and tomorrow. New mics are sounding good. Few more shows then into rehearsals with Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners for my next tour.

A year ago today I was travelling home from a tour. I was convinced I didn’t want to tour again; I’d had a miserable time and was pretty much broken as a person. I was seriously considering working out my commitments, selling my kit and quitting the industry.

Today I’m heading home from the same tour and what a difference a year makes. I’ve been fortunate enough to tour with 2 versions of the Fairytale Of New York tour and without exception the touring parties have been some of the best people I’ve ever been lucky enough to work with. I literally cannot speak highly enough of them.

I’m not even going to try and list everyone that made this tour so good because I’ll inevitably miss someone and then I’ll have to feel bad but for anyone who had any part of this – you are appreciated and for many of you - loved.

I would also be very remiss if I didn’t thank my Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners family who tolerated me in the months where I was putting myself back together.

Finished the Swedish leg of the tour and now in Norway ready to start the final two weeks of this run with Fairytale Of New York.

After a 42 hour journey I'm home from another tour. It's been a good one but with how I am I've not booked much work in for the in between.

I'm pretty available for the next 5 weeks for live sound/recording/other audio work or failing that just hanging out and doing fun stuff.

Also, I got to pet a kangaroo so that was cool.

I'm very lucky to currently be on tour over in Australia with Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners.

Once I'm home from this in mid August I'm back for about 6 weeks before heading out again and have some availability for gigs or recording in that time.

Great to be back at one of my favourite venues Waterfront Hall & Ulster Hall in Belfast with Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners. I always have a good time here. 10 shows left on this tour then I actually get to go home for 2 weeks.

As usual I've been mega slack with updating this page - even this photo is over a week old - but I've been on tour with Seven Drunken Nights - The Story of The Dubliners since the end of February.

My diary is pretty full for this year as it stands but I do have a couple of months starting from mid August free. I'd like to fill it either with a short tour or some recording work ideally but I'm also free for one off live dates.
