I've just completed the drum recording session with the very talented Jordan Carrier for Collider Skies new 4 song EP. It's been great to try out my Se ribbon mics as overheads for a more natural representation of the kit and also to tame those rampant cymbals! Due to members busy schedules we're recording each instrumental 'family' piecemeal as and when possible. Next week guitars!

Had a lovely final recording session with Abengarth to do a few retakes of songs they weren't 100% happy with after hearing the rough mixes. Now on to the final mixing and mastering!

Had a great second session with Abengarth for their album 'Full Circle' which went very well. They seem happy with most of the rough mixes so just one more session to re do a couple of songs they felt they might improve on. Could get this mixed and mastered in the next 2 weeks if we can nail these takes.

Had a great time with Abengarth recording tracks for their album which is due for a Christmas release. Godfrey and Bob are a delight to work with and listen to, with lovely harmonies and some sweet guitar pickin'. I'm looking forward to the next session.

Getting further up the road with fAITH's new album. Great recording session last night at Lush HQ laying down some gorgeous a ca****la vocal takes. Absolutely loving the sound of my Se electronics ribbon mics for lead vocals too.

Had a great day doing the PA sound for Faith's outdoor gig at Stourport Civic as part of Stourports' annual Carnival event. Were they good? No.....They were BRILLIANT! They went down very well with the considerable crowd that gathered in the Civic's carpark. Many thanks to the Civic's staff who hastily erected a gazebo to ensure we remained dry in case of rain and made us feel most welcome.

Started recording for Faiths' new project, a lovely version of Fairport Conventions' 'Farewell Farewell'. Despite a few technical hold-ups we managed to get some good takes, with great vocals from new member Esther over a nice arrangement by the band.
