What a day of riding today on some brilliant roads including Hard Knott pass.
We are extremely lucky to live in such amazing place. All made a million times better by being on the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE. Comfortable, long stroke adjustable suspension, 21 inch front wheel, TFT screen to show rider modes and the quick shifter makes it ideal for our narrow pot holed roads and can easily venture off the tarmac. So first of all thanks to everyone that has come to bike nights The Filling Station this year . Its been a blast, loads of laughs and we have given away over £700 worth of goodies. 🙌 Mainly thanks to KC Superbikes and from the sales of North West Bikers (Cumbria) merch.

As the clocks go back soon and the forecast is not looking good, bike nights for this year have come to an end . BUT keep and eye on the page and we will have one offs and hopefully things to keep us interested though the darker months . And there is always next year. Thanks again folks 🙏😊

Huge thanks to everyone the come to the 1 year anniversary bike night last night . Well done Jack Long for being the quickest at the visor change challenge and winning some muc-off prizes . And to Mark McSherry for being the slowest and also winning some prizes 😅.

We gifted the filling station a T-Shirts thats been signed by many of yous over the last few weeks as a thanks for the staffs hard work on bike nights . We also gifted them a visor cleaning station made by Dust n Bones Creations so please use that when your next in if needed .

📍🕕6pm going from Starbucks to Cockermouth Main Street to collect Leonie and Diane all together to suprise them.

📍nice slow ride round the back of the lake towards Keswick with the VIPS leading the way on a trike.

Been down to visit Prestige Bike Care over the weekend.
Really impressed with the level of detail, care and quality of their work . Some bikes in there were being totally restored eith uprated parts and it was great to see how meticulously everything was being carried out. My bike will be in for a full detail ASAP 👌. Prestige Bike Care are also starting to run basic bike maintenance courses soon, so check out there page for more info on that.
