Now that Halloween has passed Christmas is next on the horizon. But do you still have an Advent Calendar? And if you do what will you be having this year? There seems to be an Advent Calendar for just about everything from chocolate to jewellery, gin to hot chocolate and even tea?

Wow! Sometimes a piece of theatre really has an impact and After The Act is indeed one of those productions.
Section 28 was the legislation that silenced a generation.
Such a powerful performance, using real dialogue from the people that lived through it, delivered by amazing actors.
Well done New Wolsey Theatre a brilliant piece of theatre.

I was at high school in the 80s and remember this time but I had no idea what was going on beneath the surface.

Six is a musical about the six wives of Henry VIII, performed by the multi talented The CTC company at Stowmarket’s Regal. An outstanding production it amazingly tells an accurate history of the six Queens in a modern day setting of a girl group. The staging and clothing make you feel like you are at a pop concert. Each queen is different in her own right, the writers inspired by singers such as Beyoncé and Adele. No matter if you are interested in Tudor history or just having a great time listening to some highly talented singers you will be up on your feet at the end of the performance.
• Two performances this Saturday 19th October (this really did deserve a longer run!!)

Welll, what can I say? The CTC production Six is just brilliant!!!!

Throughly enjoyed that performance by 8 very talented young actors. My mind is blown, such a polished performance with the most amazing vocals.

I just love CTC their productions are always just incredible and Six is no exception.

For tonight’s theatre experience we took a trip to Layer Marney Tower for HighTide ‘s amazing production More Ghost Stories by Candlelight.

We really enjoyed the first Ghost Stories production so had high hopes for the sequel, and we were definitely not disappointed!

Ghost Stories with a modern day twist set in an atmospheric Tudor building. Just fabulous.

More Ghost Stories by Candlelight will now go on tour so if it comes near you be sure to see it. It’s brilliant
