During the time of Roman control over the region of Palestine, Christ, peace be upon him, was sent, and after his resurrection, a severe calamity befell the Jews in Palestine, as they launched revolts against the Romans, which made the Roman commander Titus in the year (70) AD strive to eradicate and destroy them, and captivate and displace large numbers of them, and destroyed Jerusalem and the Jewish Temple. This was the second destruction of the Temple. The Roman ruler Adrian added to the destruction of the Temple in the year 135 AD, when he ordered his soldiers to level the Temple to the ground, and built there a temple to the chief Roman god, whom they call (Jupiter), and demolished everything in the city. He left one Jew in it, then he prevented the Jews from entering the city, and made the penalty for that death, then he allowed the Jews to come to Jerusalem one day a year, and to stand on a wall that remained standing from the wall of the temple, which is the western part of it, and it is called (the Wailing Wall). .
Thus, the Jews were dispersed throughout the earth, and God made the nations subject them to evil punishment due to their transgression, corruption, and bad morals. Concerning this, God Almighty says: And when your Lord gave permission to send forth upon them until the Day of Resurrection someone who would inflict upon them an evil torment. Indeed, your Lord is quick in retaliation, and indeed, he is unresponsive. Lord and Merciful [Al-Aโraf: 167]
Among the punishment that God imposed on them - in addition to this continuing torment until the Day of Resurrection - was their dismemberment in the land and their dispersion within it as a reward for their disbelief and corruption. The Almighty said: And We divided them into nations on earth, some of them were righteous and some of them were less than that, and We tested them with good deeds and evil deeds that they might return, so after them there were successors who inherited the Scripture. They take the offer of this lowest and say, โWe will be forgiven.โ And if an offer like it comes to them, they take it. Has not a covenant of the Book been taken from them that they will not say about Allah except the truth, and they have studied what is in it? And the home of the Hereafter is better for those who fear. Will you not then reason? [Al-Aโraf: 168-169]
These noble verses explain the reality of the Jews. The first verse states that God condemned them to continuous torment at the hands of people until the Day of Resurrection.
The second verse: It indicates that they will be torn apart in the land, and tearing them apart will lead to a severe calamity falling upon them as a group, and they will not be able to support each other because of it.
The Roman Muslims succeeded the Christians in the first century AH, which corresponds to the seventh century AD, in the Levant, Palestine, and all that was in the hands of the Romans in these regions.
The Jews were in a state of dispersion and dispersal throughout the land, and at that time the Jews were not allowed to live in Jerusalem, as previously explained. Rather, one of the terms of the treaty between the Christians of Jerusalem and Omar bin Al-Khattab - may God be pleased with him - was that the Jews were not allowed to live in Jerusalem. .
The Jews continued to be dispersed and torn apart throughout the earth until the beginning of the twentieth century
