Tonight

Little change is expected for many overnight, with mostly cloudy skies persisting. Turning cooler where any cloud breaks develop and persist, with the odd patch of fog possible. Minimum temperature 5°C.

Thursday

A continuation of the recent cloudy and mild weather is forecast Boxing Day. Although perhaps a greater chance of early morning fog patches, and for more persistent overcast skies later. Maximum temperature 10°C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday

Cloudy Friday with light winds, patchy fog, and some rain or drizzle. Similar start Saturday, before a band of rain clears east later. Cooler, sunnier but breezier weather following Sunday.

Mild but on the cloudy side, with many areas staying dry, although the odd spot of rain remains possible. Some limited brighter spells more likely in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 13°C.

A largely dry, bright and chilly day for many. Perhaps a few coastal showers likely early on. Turning increasingly cloudy with outbreaks of rain arriving by evening. Turning milder overnight. Maximum temperature 6°C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday
