A 17th Century Croft House that has been extended over the centuries and is now surrounded by a Cottage Garden, Kitchen Garden, Orchard and Wildlife Meadow & Pond. The garden is open for Scotland's Gardens Scheme, 60% of all money raised going to Befriend A Child, 40% to SGS Beneficiaries.

Looking to the south east this morning was a fab sunrise, and as I looked over to the north west the full moon was just setting.
As the first full moon of 2025, it is also a Wolf moon so of course had to capture it!

Pleased with how things are growing in the new poly tunnel. The tunnel is only a month old. Everything was potted up and grown on in the greenhouse and just dropped in once built. We’ll see how things progress and come up with a planting plan for next year, but for now cup hooks and baler twine is largely working as plant supports. An irrigation system has been put in, but it is so tricky getting that to deliver water evenly to all the pots… it is definitely a work in progress and involves lots of clothes pegs 🤔 #polytunnel #polytunnellife #polytunnelgrowing #westernislespolycarbonatetunnels #growyourown #growyourownveggies #aberdeenshire #polytunnelcrops #cottagegarden #kitchengarden
