Hi! I am Ola Zasinska 🙋‍♀️Thank you for talking your time to read this message.

I have lived in the Scottish Highlands for over 15 years now. This is my home. So you might have seen me already out and about.

Essentially, Boost Post is a quick fix way for publishers to combat low organic reach on Facebook🤷‍♀️ It’s also a way for Facebook to take advantage of publishers without Facebook Ads experience. Basically to take your money and give you very poor results instead.. ouch!😮😯

[Boost Post] is a cheap way to get people to advertise without going into the ads manager and having them do all the “complicated” targeting. It’s basically taking advantage of those people who don’t fully know what they are doing😪

Instead of Boost Post, publishers should use Ads Manager. Ads Manager allows you to set up, track and optimize all of your campaigns in one easy interface. Unlike Boost Post, Ads Manager gives you the freedom to target a specific audience and gather robust analytics about the performance of your ads.

Building an effective News Feed Ad can give you more flexibility with your creative, more granular targeting that reaches the people you really want to see your content, and can get better results for the same amount of money than you would have spent boosting a post🤩🤗

If you are already running Facebook ads but using Facebook Boost Post option from the page interface, you are missing the majority of what Facebook offers and I would encourage you to limit that usage🙄

If you have a restaurant or cafe and have not leveraged Facebook ads to promote your food and take away menu, you are missing a grand opportunity to engage with new customers where your competition is not.

As you probably know Facebook makes it increasingly difficult to get small businesses posts into people’s news feed. The same time, your customers need to see that you’re operating and what you have on offer regularly🕵️‍♀️

Putting up posts on your restaurant’s or services page to deliver exposure doesn’t really work well anymore👩‍🔧

Almost nobody sees those posts as Facebook has reduced your organic non-paid page posts exposure to only 2% of your fan base – if you had 1,000 fans, you would reach maybe 20 people at best!!😮
Without ads, I am afraid, you have no exposure to anyone on Facebook (this is true of almost all social channels – without ads your ability to have an impact in social is severely limited).

On the other hand with professionally set up ads you can reach to everyone you want on Facebook and within your operating area😁

You say you do takeaways also? Facebook ads can be used very effectively in to promote your take away menu🤩🥐🥯🌮🍕🍟🌭

Facebook is hands down the number one social media channel in the world. Your customers are there in the largest concentration out of any other social channel. And the vast majority of your customers access Facebook multiple times per day of which the majority are accessing via their mobile phone📲
