RL Systems was set up in May 2016 after I, Richard, decided that there was a gap in the Berkshire market for all things extra low voltage.Over 10 years ago, I started my journey with Sky before moving on to a small company in Wiltshire where I progressed, was educated and became an expert in many areas. My little boy came and found me at work today!
The client has some pretty nice pets - so he had to have a quick look over the fence to see what he could find.

And yes. That is a crocodile in my van handle. His name is Crocolli, apparently.

Before and after. Our data cabinet installation at a beautiful home in The property is a new acquisition for a large estate and it was in desperate need of an update. We have Cat6 data cabling to every room (apart from bathrooms) as well as coax cable to certain rooms. The house is covered with WiFi with more than 200mbps download speed everywhere. We love using networking equipment because of the results we get.

We fitted this gate intercom from recently. It a camera that integrates with the cctv system in the property. Using the same app as the cctv the client can receive notifications to their smartphone and if they want to they can also allow access through the gates.

We’ve hit our ‘sponsoring our son’s school fete’ era.
The youngest wasn’t impressed in any way.

We won something on the kids tombola and the burgers were amazing so - his attitude soon turned around. 😂

Annoyingly on Tuesday I had a flat tyre!

Always annoying when you’re trying to not let customers down and when you’re working long days to accommodate the bank holidays!🫣

So, imagine my delight when I got to the van at 7.30am today to find that ANOTHER tyre has got a puncture too. 😭

I may have accidentally shown off my knowledge of 4 letter words to the builders working next to my house 😂😂😂

Luckily Ben and Tommy at A&T Motors in Ball Hill keep me on the road and are worth their weight in gold.

Thanks to my customers who have been really patient! 🎉

A panicked 4pm phone call from The Hilton… ‘All of our TV’s have gone off! Help!’😱

Put my cape on 🦸🏼‍♂️ (of course) and all 171 rooms have a full television system again.
