I've always wondered if those little magazines full of ads that come through the post actually work. I don’t usually rush to read them, but I do tend to keep them on the side - just in case and to be fair, on occasion when I’ve needed a plumber or electrician I've found myself flicking through one.

One landed on my mat recently, and it got me thinking- maybe it’s worth placing an ad for my side business? With an online marketing push planned ready, this old-school approach could be the perfect way to reach an older audience who are more likely to see (and trust) a traditional ad.

The ad seems to be working by the amount of interest were getting.

For the past six years, I've had the honor of supporting the Community Foundation Wakefield District and their Unsung Heroes Awards, and once again, this year has been a heartwarming experience.

Meeting the inspiring nominees - people who have dedicated their time and energy selflessly to helping others - has truly been a privilege.

This year, I had the pleasure of working with more groups than individuals, and each one brought its own unique story of commitment and generosity.

We have a video shoot down on the south coast planned for later in the month and I needed to test whether the pop up background would be big enough.

It's not! Although, with a trusted friend. We have a plan b and hopefully it'll fit in the car with the rest of the kit.
