Our Story

Originally a name to go under when putting on DIY punk shows and recording bands as far back as 2009, Hot Salvation opened a physical record shop in Folkestone, Kent in 2014.

in 2016 we joined forces with The Folkestone Fringe to begin working on Profound Sound festival which has since become a staple platform for marginal music in the South East.

In 2019, we closed the doors to our shop, but remain an online music retailer. We have also now partnered with Phantom Limb and work on various projects including label project management services, marketing, radio and distribution for small labels releasing challenging and interesting music. We attempt to bring a grassroots model to these projects, using labour exchange and trade where possible and have a focus on building solid, long lasting creative relationships with like-minded labels all over the world.
