We have a fantastic opportunity for a young person to take on a kickstart role here at Giant Leap Productions. We’re looking for someone with a passion for either filming, editing, animation or maybe even all 3! This is a junior position with a fantastic opportunity to learn from our experienced in-house team. It's 25 hours per week based at our studios in West Yorkshire.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Motion Graphics Designer to join the team at Giant Leap Productions. This is a great role for someone with an intermediate level of experience, so we'd ideally like someone with a few years working experience in the video production industry.

We are a good vibes company who pride ourselves on nurturing a team of friendly, happy staff that support each other and always give 100% in whatever they're working on.

The Role:

Working with our team of video production specialists on motion projects, VFX and animation projects.
Designing and animating digital effects to enhance live action video projects.
Creating animated lower thirds and breakers to export and integrate into Adobe Premiere Essential Graphics Panel.
Developing concepts and designing and animating motion videos.
Creating digital storyboards for animated projects and live action videos.
Liaising with our video team and clients.
Required Skills:

A great working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Proven track record of designing and animating motion videos.
Good ability of tracking live action content to add VFX flourishes.
Basic knowledge of editing in Adobe Premiere.
Ability to illustrate assets to use in motion / animation projects.
Good eye for nice graphic design.

Great Bonus Skills:

Knowledge of 3D programmes such as C4D.
Good working knowledge of editing videos in Adobe Premiere.
Expected start date: 27/09/2021

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Ellie got her fabulous performing skills from a 9 year run in the West End, performing in world-famous musicals such as Cats!

As well as producing here at Giant Leap her performing skills (honed on stage) regularly come in handy during our weekly live shows, whether its presenting, co-hosting, or just keeping the team on track - Ellie is an essential part of Giant Leap - so thanks for all the hard work! 🎉

Alongside being a skilled video producer and photographer, Max has superb creative writing skills - making him a valuable member of the Giant Leap Productions team.

Writing scripts is an essential part of the video production process. Often clients give us key information to focus on which our talented team then use to craft a final script in-house.
