The Kincardine Bridge, one of the road crossings over the Firth of Forth in Fife, Scotland

It’s 822 metres long, and construction started in 1932, and was completed in 1936. It carries the A985 road from Grangemouth over to the town of Kincardine.

It’s replacement, the Clackmannanshire Bridge, was opened on the 19th of November 2008 to cope with heavier transport volumes, and to also bypass the town of Kincardine.

The original Kincardine Bridge was given Category A listed status by Historic Scotland in 2005.
