Last night someone stole 15 Laurel plants from our verge in Warnham. If you saw anything or see anyone planting a new laurel hedge, plants about 4ft plus in height, please let the police know or message me direct. This is a sad reflection on people! 😡

CPRE Sussex Countryside Day 2023

Don’t miss the first CPRE Sussex Countryside Day on Saturday 2nd September from 10am till 4pm at home of rewilding, Knepp, Dial Post, West Sussex.

Countryside supporters of all ages will enjoy this unique event both celebrating the Sussex branch of a national charity, Campaign to Protect Rural England, and the natural world, the beauty of our countryside, and why it needs to be protected and promoted. With lots of stalls, hands on activities, a kid’s activity area and tours of Knepp. Plus visit the brand new Knepp Estate’s new Wilding Café and Shop.
Lady Isabella Burrell from the Knepp Estate said: “The Knepp Estate is delighted to host this new event for CPRE Sussex, which coincides with the launch of our new Wilding Café and Shop. Protecting and restoring our countryside is vitally important for the health of our planet and ourselves, and so much of what we do here at Knepp is aligned with the fantastic work of CPRE Sussex. We look forward to welcoming this event to Knepp and wish it every success.”

24 Stalls of produce and activities, talks and tours attached, kid's activity area, plus a little farm as tours of the Knepp estate and vegetable patch.
