Darren's passion for music was nurtured further by the influence of h
is uncle, Winston Delandro, who at the time was making a name for himself on the London Music Scene as a session guitarist and would later go on to form The Breakfast Band. Through this influence Darren was fortunate to meet a number of great musicians. Displaying a profound interest in learning to play the drums, Darren’s father bought him his first drum kit when he was just 6 years old. Aged 13 he formed his first band with his brother Paul Abraham, (guitarist,) and childhood friend Paul Bruce, (bass player.) After leaving school, he went on to study art and music at Kingsway College, London for 2 years, where he received a scholarship to study music at a university of his choice, but instead he opted for the real thing and began working as a professional musician, landing his first European tour with The Breakfast Band. Darren went on to work with a number of great artists across a broad spectrum of popular music, Jimmy Page, Billy Ocean, Incognito, Jason Rebello, Joycelyn Brown, Beverley Knight, Nigel Kennedy, Joss Stone, Soul to Soul, Roachford, Mica Paris, to name but a few; allowing him to expand and enrich his musicality, travel the world, learn about life and experience different cultures, and it is this rich and broad experience that Darren brings to his music and production.
