Clipsham stone grotesques, hand carved I can make these to order

A good hand carved letter in softer stones should be deep enough to create a natural contrast shadow in natural light, one of the master masons I learnt from used to have little v gauges to measure depth, and if it wasn’t deep enough you would carve it again, still try to achieve it to this day
