This docuseries has been sat in my watch list since it first came onto Netflix last September - mixed reviews stalling me from watching. However, I recently decided to watch it after it gaining popularity again on the streaming platform.

The contradicting story lines from everyone involved made for a good watch, it kept the audience hooked on wanting to know not only what happened next but also the truth.

Nick and Alexis, the antagonists, spoke through the robberies that unfolded back in 2008/9 (Hilton, Lohan, Bloom etc) . To pair with their stories was camera footage from each incident.
Netflix cleverly put interviews side by side to show the pairs dislike towards one another which became more apparent over the episodes.

By the end of episode two, the drama was at a high (especially for those who weren’t familiar with the case). Although, when it came to episode three the entertainment aspect vanished and it felt as though it had been rushed in filming with not a lot of it making 100% sense.

Nevertheless, the total filming of the series was nicely done and the footage retrieved from back then was well inserted. (Some info included that isn’t commonly known or highly spoken about).

Would definitely recommend giving it a watch if you’re looking for a mini series to pass the time.
