Well, that was an insane 7 days! Back-to-back filming, consisting of event shoots and documentary-type interviews. I filmed on a fancy boat and met Emily Miller from Netflix's 'Too Hot to Handle', drove a single-decker bus for the first time (random I know), interviewed Kim Sherwood author of 'Double or Nothing', directed a multi-camera live show, drove for 32 hours in total and travelled 1650 miles.

Home > London > Leeds > Home > Edinburgh > Southampton > Southend-on-Sea > Hull > Home.

Enjoyed it. Loved it. Smashed it.

Fun fact: I actually did Home to Edinburgh to Southampton in one day, which ended up being a 12 hour drive with a 4 hour shoot in the middle. A 'bit' demanding, but I made it work.

To me, the video filming world truly is one of the most rewarding industries to ever exist. You really do meet people from all walks of life. A huge high five to everyone I spent time with on my travels; thank you! Until the next one(s)!

One thing that really stood out for me throughout all this - treat people with kindness and respect; it goes a long way.

Had the privilege of filming Kim Sherwood; author of the new novel “Double Or Nothing”, based on the current-day 00-section at MI6.

Shot for a Germany based documentary broadcaster, a green screen back drop was required to match the style of a previous shoot; the lady in the lilac top is actually Ian Fleming’s niece! It was quite a small room to work in, and so the pop-up green was perfect for this job. Producer Camera

Multi-camera live show for Production Futures - they create "opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and develop careers in production across all aspects of live, virtual and hybrid events, music, touring, theatre, TV, broadcast and film."

This BTS for gives a little snap shot of what's involved on jobs like this; from rigging the cables and setting up cameras, to vision mixing and producing a show. A real collaborative approach.
