So we are currently at our happy place, Camping-Village de la Guyonnière in the Vendée in France. We do not have enough food things to say about this place having holidays here for the last 8 years. The facilities are top class, the pool area is fantastic and heated and the staff on the family run park are lovely. Camping in the UK is so expensive now, the weather and the site here cannot be touched. If you have something to stay in, a caravan, motorhome or tent, you can stay the entire month of June for €300 for 2 people. If you have kids, there is an animation team, activities, kids club etc and it is €400 for June. ( You need to confirm the prices with them but these were accurate this year). We couldn't use our own accommodation this year so we are in a 6 berth chalet which allows dogs and it was around £320 for 8 nights.
We are going to be here for the whole month of June next year so if you know us and want to come and say hi, or just want a fantastic value holiday, look it up.
I'm not getting anything for this to be clear, just want others to see what Pierre, Piet, Thys and all the staff created here. The reason it's not so busy in June is because they have just opened for the season and the way holidays are in Europe/France and they have a massive peak in the summer holidays, but don't go camping in the rain and wet like us crazy Brits.
