We got invited by our dear friends to their sons’s Christening and Birthday party. Its a struggle for us parents of autism kids to go, as most of the time we think of our kid’s condition and circumstances. My son has Autism and he had issues sleeping before, sometimes he will wake up middle of the night and won’t sleep anymore making all of us tired. It took us years to correct this, as we learn about his routine we finally made him sleep with us. If he naps in the afternoon we expect him to be sleeping late but at least he won’t be waking up until morning comes. We potty train him and uses urine bottles, we wake him up to have a wee in a bottle, we use to have an alarm clock before for that. Now that hes grown up he only wears nappy just in case and will go to the toilet 1st thing when he wakes up. #autismawareness #autismsupport #autismkidsareamazing #sendco #autismacceptance #fypシ゚viral

Our eyes waters all throughout my son’s haircut. Sorry for being emotional, I just never see ourselves sitting on the couch watching my son having his haircut done, and its a huge deal for us parents dealing with autism. The only needle stick injury that is worthwhile when you see him smiling and happy🫣🧶🐽. ⚠️Disclaimer. I am not this careless at work and I have no records of needle stick injury at all😅😂. My son has so many words that I could not understand and sometimes it would take me months to figure out what he means, how much more of him that he doesn’t understand me if I ask him what he means. My Ausome one is doing well with the home activity I made for him. I make sure to give activity according to his routine. He has a small span of focus, we struggle in all sitting activities but he is getting used to it and I can see that he is engaging well. One of the greatest fear is how will my son going to manage and take care of himself when we are not there for him anymore. He still have alot of things to learn but we are getting there. As he grows older, I see alot of improvements. Everytime we travel we always make sure to bring packed lunch for my son and if we are staying away from home for 2 or more days, we make sure to bring rice and a can of spam with us so we can cook it for him. Have you ever felt bad and guilty everytime you eat in a restaurant when your Ausome one is not eating with you? Sometimes you wish that one day he will join you and he will like the food you are eating. We understood he is different and we embrace it. We keep trying and trying because we know that a miracle can happen. ❤️🥰
We don’t drive🫣. My son’s school is only a 5 to 8min walk from home but we struggled alot before especially when he was 4 to 5 years old. He had some days that he just won’t walk and would ask us to carry him all the way there. Since we bought him a scooter, this became like a mobility aid for him as he is too big for a buggy. I know his too young to understand what budget means. What we do is we keep saying “next time” if he asks for something he wants. He understood what next time means at times but its still a struggle, I guess I would say that he is working on it. Whenever we go shopping we always tell my son if we got enough budget for him, if not then we will only say next time.
