News! We are delighted to dhare thenwork of our wroter, Jonnie Hurn.

Jonnie rained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, where he studied acting and writing, quickly realising his heart lay with film and not the stage. It was there he developed his penchant for creating challenging and complex characters.

A lover of story over genre, his semi-autobiographical debut feature “Do Elephants Pray?” won a slew of international festival awards and a UK theatrical release. His follow ups “In Circles”, the world’s first ever feature about the phenomenon of crop circles, was released in over 80 countries worldwide. Two short films, the Shakespeare adaptation “King John” and the coming-of-age drama “Riding Liberty”, have both won multiple festival awards. A new hi-end short, the WW2 drama “The Loyal Enemy” shoots April 2025. In 2024, the interactive thriller feature “The Run” was shot in the Italian Alps, for which Jonnie was a co-story writer. He currently has several scripts in development with various producers.

A fluent French speaker, Jonnie also teaches screenwriting at The Hive Academy in France.
