This is your reminder that you don’t have to post every single day to make your event a success 🤯
The truth?
You can absolutely build buzz, engage your audience, and sell out tickets even if you don’t spend hours glued to your phone.
In fact, by focusing your time and energy on these few things instead, you’ll get there even FASTER:
✅ Create a strong content plan: Know what to post and when to post it for maximum impact.
✅ Promote consistently and strategically: Focus on key milestones like early-bird tickets, guest announcements, and countdowns.
✅ Engage with your audience: Reply to comments, answer DMs, and start conversations—connection builds excitement.
So don’t get hung up thinking you must post constantly to reach your goals. Work smarter, not harder!

Here are 5 top tips to keep the momentum going after an event:
Share Highlights and Recaps 🎥
Post event photos, videos, and highlight reels showcasing the best moments. Share behind-the-scenes content or "Thank You" posts featuring attendees, speakers, or performers to keep the buzz alive.
Gather and Share Testimonials 🗣️
Ask attendees for feedback or quotes about their experience. Turn these into posts, graphics, or stories to celebrate the event’s success and build anticipation for future ones.
Keep the Conversation Going 💬
Engage your audience with follow-up questions like “What was your favorite moment?” or “Who would you love to see next time?” You can also tease future plans or the next event to keep them hooked.
Repurpose Content ♻️
Use event footage to create new posts, carousels, or reels. For example, post speaker quotes, attendee shoutouts, or fun clips that you didn’t get to share before the event.
Offer a Post-Event Exclusive 🎟️
Provide attendees with a post-event thank-you offer, such as early-bird access to your next event, exclusive downloads, or event-related freebies. This keeps people invested in your brand and excited for what’s next!
✨ Pro Tip: Use your analytics to see which content resonated most during the event and keep building on that success!

✨ Working Late? Same here! ✨
It’s nearly 2025, and tonight, I’m burning the midnight oil. Why? Because those big goals I set at the start of the year still matter, and I’m determined to finish strong! 💪
If you’re working late too, trying to wrap things up or plan ahead, here’s a little advice (and some encouragement):
🌟 1. Focus on what matters. Not everything has to be done tonight. What’s really going to make a difference for you? Start there.
🌟 2. Get a head start on 2025. Take a moment to think: what can I do now to make January feel less overwhelming? Even a tiny step counts.
🌟 3. Don’t forget to rest. Late nights happen, but make sure you’re giving yourself some time to recharge too. You deserve it.
🌟 4. Celebrate your wins. Seriously, take a second to recognize how far you’ve come this year. You’re doing amazing—even on the tough days.
🌟 5. Remember, you’re not alone. A lot of us are in this together—chasing dreams, hitting deadlines, and figuring out what’s next. If you need a cheerleader or some advice, my DMs are always open! 🙌
Let’s power through these last few weeks of 2024 and step into 2025 ready to smash it. You’ve got this! 💥
Why are you working late tonight? Tell me in the comments—I’d love to know what you’re working on!

DONT PANIC!
Your reach and engagement and views are low? It's that time of year when every big brand (and lots of smaller ones) are spending money on Ads for Black Friday / Cyber Monday and Christmas, pushing organic content down the line.
You just need to make sure you are still consistently (that's key!) posting strategic posts, make them unique, authentic and memorable.
Want some help? Drop me a line, but to paraphrase Tess and Claudia- "Keeeeeeep posting!"

If you are starting a new event, and you want it known about in your local community, then holding a smaller event a few months before is a brilliant idea - for these reasons:
1 You get to start setting up your social media, building up an email list and getting your name known locally
2 You can get footage and photos from this event that you can use to showcase your bigger and main event (testimonials too!)
3 A smaller event could still bring in some much needed money to help you promote the bigger event.
I hope that helps! Follow if you want more event promotion tips to tickle your fancy.

The first time I promoted an event, it was a small local affair and I was struggling with getting the word out within the local community even with a consistent posting schedule on social media - so this is how I fixed it...
1️⃣ Leveraged Local Facebook Groups
I shared event details in community-specific groups
2️⃣ Partnered with Local Businesses
I asked nearby businesses to display flyers and to share the event on their social media,
3️⃣ Used Local Hashtags
I researched and used hashtags like #[YourTown]Events, #[YourArea]ThingsToDo, or #[YourRegion]Festival to reach nearby audiences
4️⃣ Sent Event Announcements to Community Newsletters
I submitted my event details to be featured in local email and print newsletters
5️⃣ Got Listed on Local Event Calendars
I submitted the event to websites like Eventbrite, Meetup, and the town's official events calendar. Then I did the same with libraries, community centres, and radio stations that also had free listings
6️⃣ Engaged with Local Influencers
I reached out to micro-influencers and well-known community members and invited them to the event in exchange for social media promotion
7️⃣ Collaborated with Schools and Community Groups
The event was family-friendly, so I partnered with schools, scout groups, and community organizations to spread the word
8️⃣ Created Eye-Catching Signage
I created large signage posters and banners and these were displayed in high-traffic local spots on busy roads, in coffee shops, libraries, and gym noticeboards and more.
9️⃣ Hosted a Pre-Event Giveaway
I offered free tickets or exclusive perks for sharing the event post or tagging friends
🔟 Engaged with Local Press
I sent a press release to local newspapers, radio stations, and online blogs.
Making these moves meant that the community found out about the event, got behind it, got excited about it and they SOLD OUT of tickets!
Which is your favourite way of attracting a local audience?

Feeling overwhelmed with your event to-do list? Here’s your friendly reminder: you don’t have to do it all on your own. 💛
Planning and managing an event is no small feat. Between juggling vendors, finalizing guest lists, and making sure every detail is just right, it’s easy to feel like you’re drowning in tasks.
But here’s the thing: asking for help doesn’t mean you’re not capable. It means you’re smart enough to know that collaboration leads to better results. Whether it’s delegating tasks, bringing in extra hands for the big day, or outsourcing the parts you don’t love (hello, social media 📱), you’re freeing yourself to focus on what matters most—making your event amazing.
If you’re feeling stuck with your event’s social media, I’ve got your back. From creating buzz to managing posts, I can help you connect with your audience, sell those tickets, and make your event stand out.
✨ Let me take the stress out of your socials, so you can focus on the magic.
