Big thanks to Tom @ the for quick delivery of my rear tailgate strut kit. I am very impressed with the quality of it. Stainless brackets & bolts including gaskets to protect my paintwork.
And the best bit my hatch actually finally stays up ! 😉
Bolts to existing mounting points so no need to drill any holes or touch the bodywork 👏
Turns out the springs were worn out- and rather than replace I opted for the safer option of the strut kit. Comes highly recommended by me. 👍

My stunning interior after a thorough clean! Had a week away camping in Doug with the family and he was in desperate need of a wash !
Always scrubs up well, my bespoke 1 off interior hand built by Richard C Booth - best in the business for the best in the business 😋

Another year another MOT pass with perfect bill of health.
Yes it’s MOT exempt , but this is something I ignore. Why?
It’s worth every penny having a trained professional check over your handywork and to deem Doug safe and roadworthy.
You can easily miss something and when you are carrying passengers safety and reliability is paramount.

Has come quite a long way already . 🔧 🔨
Lots of hours spent getting it right but I’m happy with the look.
Currently at the paint shop being prepped 🎨
Still lots to do once he’s painted but the real hard graft is now done.
I find building it back up to be the most enjoyable part.
Especially with shiny new bits 👍
