11 December @ 1am: This is the moment, one year ago today, I held your hand and watched you leave this world, I've never felt so helpless, I miss you dearly ❤️

I've never been one for tradition, but I've decided I want to make one to remember you at this time each year, as it was one of your last requests. To remember what a hard drink tasted like after decades of not drinking. You requested a nice quality Vodka in honour of David, before you went. I laughed a lot when I realised the brand you'd recalled as being top shelf... Cossack! Was literally the cheapest s**te you can buy 😂

So I decided I was going to at least get the best I could from a local shop with 10 minutes notice, so bought you a bottle of Grey Goose. Also a large bottle thinking you might like to actually get drunk one last time, or at least a bit merry, but you had one swig and it almost blew your head off, yelling "F**k! That's some powerful s**t!" I laughed really hard.

It was one of the last little fond memories we had in this world, so I have bought myself a bottle Of Grey Goose and now I will drink to you my dearest father. Until we meet again

You are always in my thoughts, everyone misses you greatly.

So for all his friends, family and fans who wish to join me in raising a glass in his memory.

Here's a toast to my father... powerful s**t! 💪

I'm actually crying, you are all amazing, whatever I get beyond the goal I will ensure that it goes towards making my dads send off the best it can be, whatever that entails be it a more elaborate ceremony or a better headstone/memorial to enshrine his epitaph upon.

If there's more beyond that then I will want to make a donation towards helping those who also have the rare and debilitating disease that took him from us, MDS, which currently has no cure.

I am simply blown away by the generosity shown, it's barely been 6 hours and we have suppassed our goal already.

Dad I truely wish you're somewhere seeing this, and I hope you can see how truly loved you were/are. I will be forever greatful to those who have helped make this happen
