MUHIMU (pronounced MowHeMow) means Important in Swahili the language of my African (Congolese) Ancestors, and H2O is the symbol for Water.
My Story
Not many can say that they have absolute strangers as their Godparents, born more than 54 years ago (at Princess Louise Hospital, Kensington) with Haemangioma (an unusual birthmark which is a common benign tumour of infancy also known as strawberry birth mark). l was not predicted to leave the hospital alive at birth, so of course as a Roman Catholic family I was baptised and the Doctor and a Nurse were my Godparents. I spent the first 10 months of my life in hospital. So thinking I was on borrowed time I had an obsession with death, until I safely got to 50 and realised I am here for a purpose.
Nearly thirty-one years ago I became a mother and my journey of near daily creative ideas (of products, services and TV shows) began. However as a young single mother of one on limited income, all my ideas, talking Teddies, Shy cards etc., stayed as that, just ideas, my prime commitment was to qualify as a children's social worker, while still having a catalogue of some good ideas, (and not so good ideas). One of which was briefly pitched to Channel 4 Television Entertainment manager and resulted in a face-to-face appointment with their Media Project Manager, unfortunately I needed a production company to get to the next level.
I have been a Social Worker for nearly 33 years, I have satisfied my career goals in my field having been a Team manager for nearly 10 years. I now feel that having had many innovative ideas with legs, I am now in a place of stability and confidence in my ability to take my products from mind to sustainable products.

“My light bulb moment came from my gym buddy, while we were using the gym, she commented that the gym had no paper towels to wipe down the gym equipment, and Muhimu H2O (Important Water), 2-in-1 Dual Functioning drinking and sanitising reusable water bottle with detachable refill wipes dispenser, was born.

Our long-term objective is to develop a reputation as a premier brand with proven, sustainable products. We aim to reinvest our profits, researching and developing (R&D) new and existing products to meet the unmet needs of our consumers that also support environmental and social issues.
