Well it proved to be a pretty wet Sunday! And lots of you will have woke up to various puddles while some flood alerts have been issued for parts of Staffordshire today.

🎥Incase you missed it this is the drone footage of the fire in Burslem this week. Today Staffordshire Police say 'cannabis growing equipment' was found inside the Waterloo Road building while a 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of arson and cultivating a cannabis plant.🚨

A moment of appreciation for the amazing emergency services we have here in North Staffordshire. This was the scene in Waterloo Road in Burslem yesterday where firefighters, police and paramedics were called out to deal with a large fire. Brave firefighters helped rescue three people with a total of five taken to hospital. Thanks for all you do! ❤️
This is the current scene on the A53 as it goes through Milton and Baddeley Green. Motorists have branded it a 'wheel trim graveyard' as covers sit by the side of the road after two monster potholes are said to have claimed a number of victims.

This was the scene on the A53 through Milton yesterday morning. It came after the city was hit by hours of heavy rain. In a change in conditions, we have woken up to frozen windscreens across North Staffordshire this morning. The Met Office is forecasting a dry day - with lows of -3C later on.
Westwood Golf Club under water on Sunday
This was the scene at Leek's Westwood Golf Club on Sunday morning after Storm Darragh brought hours of heavy rain. Today and organisers at the venue have told golfers that the 'front nine is open and back nine is closed'.
A moment of appreciation for the hundreds who took part in today's 46th Star Bikers Toy Run. They toured Stoke-on-Trent and collected in gifts from the generous people who lined the streets. In Baddeley Green one resident was seen handing bag, after bag, to the the bikers who stopped off to get them. This city has such a big heart ❤️

Water levels on Endon Brook
🌧️Storm Bert has certainly hit North Staffordshire today. A number of roads have been left under water and hundreds have suffered power cuts.
But many of you may well have spotted how the area's fields have been left looking like lakes. This is the scene off Leek Road in Endon where the water levels of Endon Brook have drastically risen.

🥶This was the scene which confronted police and search and rescue teams in the Peak District last night. The footage was recorded by rural crime team officers from Cheshire who say despite the conditions various drivers ignored road closures. A moment of appreciation for our emergency services and all those volunteers who were out in the snow last night! 👏
💧This is Burslem where a burst water pipe is causing a lot of problems this morning. Hundreds of families are experiencing supply issues while Stoke-on-Trent City Council has warned a road closure may have to be rolled out.
