⭐️ A Week In Care Management ⭐️

Monday! We have been reminiscing over the past year, looking through old photos ❤️ We have spoken to family members on their Family well being calls 📞 😊 We have been updating documentation ready for the new year 👍🏻

Tuesday - We have had a lovely New Year’s Eve! We have enjoyed all sitting around together while having some cheese and crackers! Susan quizzing us all on cheese! 🧀 🤣 We then enjoyed a visit from Howard! We may have enjoyed a couple of drinks too 🍷

Wednesday - Happy new year to everyone! 🎉🎉 We have had a fun filled day but also relaxing! We have played a number of games while all enjoying each others company ☺️ and spending time together ❤️

Thursday - We have had the children in today which everyone always loves! 🥰 We have trips out locally, however it is dropping cold now 🥶 but having the Caribbean drumming in soon warmed us up! It was great 🥁🎶

Friday - We have started of the morning with carrying out some chores in the home with the help of the residents ☺️ We are keeping warm and staying in today! of course we wouldn’t miss the fish and chips for lunch! 🎣

We have been to the shops to pick dessert for tomorrow and also been doing some model building today 😃

Then this afternoon we had a real treat with some Caribbean drumming! They sounded fantastic and really got us in the mood for a summer holiday ☀️

Happy new year everyone!

We have started the new year with lots of laughs and a bit of competitiveness to get us all in the fighting spirit for the year to come and feed of positive and healthy energy 😃

It’s nice to just have a relaxing day, with a bit of silliness and fun; start as we mean to go on!

We have had a fab end to the year, Reminicing our time in December, having the kids in, getting out locally, exploring our dreams for the coming year, music and happiness 🤩

Then this afternoon we munched away On a selection of cheeses, chutney, crackers, grapes and Buck’s Fizz before some entertainment with Howard 🧀

We have been Reminicing the past year through photos and making a collage of these spelled into the year 2025 for display on our walls, it’s lovely looking back at everything we have been up to over the year! 😃

We have also been out to the shops, got In the papers and done our news discussions 🗞️

Today it is Maria’s birthday, happy birthday to Maria 😃

Maria loves all creatures great and small so we decided upon a trip to ponderosa Zoo! As any extra delight one of her sons met us there as an added suprise ❤️

We loved seeing the animals, having lunch out and once home we sang happy birthday with a cake 🎂

We have had a lovely day! Opening gifts all morning, visits from the family, going out to celebrate with loved ones and a lovely festive lunch! 🎄

Our Christmas Eve has been all about keeping fit with Rachel before having some fluffy friends back to visit 😃

We adore these animals from Diggis Den, beautiful rabbits and array or Guinea pig friends, we even remember them from our previous visits and they bring us such comfort 🐇

A fabulous little treat before the man in red makes his appearance tomorrow!

We have been Santas little helpers again hopefully surprising family members with a hamper treat made by thier loved ones ❤️

We have been busy over the weeks buying items, choosing which to go in the hampers and making these up 🍫

Then today was the day we delivered them hopefully spreading some cheer and happy faces 😃

Today we welcomed Andy’s Man club in to collect the proceeds from the Bushtucker trial fundraiser we did for them 💰

The staff had a tough time but did it for this amazing cause to help men who are suffering with poor mental health and need some support 🤗

We raised through sponsors a grand total of…… 🥁

£250!!!!

Thanks to all who helped and to the staff involved and never forget….. it’s okay to talk 🗣️

Today we have had Dennis’s birthday, happy birthday to Dennis! 🎁 🎈

We have decorated in the morning, then presented Dennis with a gift 🎁 we have also been watching some status Quo videos! Reminicing our time at the piece hall concert! 🎶

This afternoon we enjoyed a Jack and the beanstalk pantomime! With Carol singing followed after, before presenting Dennis with his wonderful themed cake 🎂

⭐️ A Week In Care Management ⭐️

Monday! We have had volunteers in today which is always great! We have continued making some more Christmas decorations 🧑‍🎄 We have spoken to family members on their Family well being calls 📞 😊 We have been updating documentation 👍🏻

Tuesday - We have raised some funds for the Lennox charity 🥰 well done to Claire who won £50 also 😀 We have had little movers back in with some great Christmas games 🎅

Wednesday - Staff members have had their appraisals which will continue into next week 🙂 we have had the Halifax panthers in 😝 we enjoyed a game of bingo! 😀

Thursday - We have had some family members looking around the home for potential clients 😀 We have enjoyed looking at some history with Howard and looking into the history of Halifax! It was great 👍🏻

Friday - Christmas partyyy 🎉 Today was our residents Christmas party we had a great afternoon! We enjoyed a buffet lunch but of course we wouldn’t miss the fish and chips! Which we enjoyed for tea! Jemma and boo have been out to carry out assessments 😀

🎉 Residents party 🎉

Today we had our residents Christmas party 🥳

We enjoyed a lunch buffet all together, we then got into the swing of things with some Christmas Kareoke and some Christmas games 🎲

We then welcomed Mandi, who played the accordion as we sang together lots of well known Christmas carols to really get us into the Christmas spirit 🪗

We’ve had a blast 💥

About the Service: Lee Mount Residential Home is a care home located in the heart of a community, close to shops and social centres. The home is registered to provide accommodation and personal care for up to 25 people in one building over two floors.

People’s experience of using this service: The most powerful feature of the service was the management and staff’s commitment to providing person-centred care which put people at the heart of their care. There were well thought-out processes in plce to capture people’s wishes and preferences and make real improvements in people’s quality of life. People and staff were empowered to achieve goals which reduced challenging behaviours and improved people’s engagement with activities in both the home and the wider community.
