When Midlands based boutique Blu-ray label, Treasured Films, an offshoot of the import business Film Treasures, announced Jeff Lieberman’s 2004 slasher film Satan’s Little Helper as it second release there was talk of an event involving the director.

A bit late in posting this, since we took a dive headfirst back into our workload in getting our slate of releases for the year finished - but we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to everybody who attended our first event which was held at the Futurist Cinema , Kidderminster where we hosted the legendary filmmaker Jeff Lieberman and celebrated his vast and varied body of work.

It's an understatement to say we learnt a lot with it being our first rodeo, but we were over the moon to find people had travelled from the likes of Northern Ireland, Wales, London, Portsmouth, the Forest of Dean and beyond to be there; truly die-hard fans of Jeff and his films. We hope you all enjoyed the presence of the man himself and all the wisdom and insight he had to offer about his works and his time and place in the business - as well as the lesser seen rarities of his career we we had the pleasure of screening.

We'd like to thank inimitable film scholars Darrell Buxton and Jon Towlson for being terrific interviewers who ensured the Q&A's with Jeff were as fascinating and entertaining as we had anticipated, the staff at the Futurist Cinema for their unique independent venue and for looking after the attendees, Rich and James for manning the stall, and of course to Jeff and his wonderful wife Joann for being such troopers clocking up some serious air miles and sticking out such a long weekend chatting to fans. We hope this is the first of many more!

FAQ 101: Where is DAWN OF THE MUMMY?

**EDIT UPDATE**
A few of you have seen there is a street date now for Dec 9th. This does not apply to those who have pre-ordered as we are still expecting them anytime soon. We are eagerly awaiting further notice from the manufacturers so do bear with us while we push for further updates!

Just wanted to put an update to assure you all that our LE of DAWN OF THE MUMMY is still on the way albeit delayed at the manufacturers as they work through a backlog of production catering for many labels. We sincerely apologise for the wait as we were hoping to be holding them in our hands by now, too. It has been a long process hampered by long delays so we can understand any frustration with not having them by now. Rest assured, we have been informed they will be here any day, though we can't exactly put a date on when that is - but when they are, you will be the first to know!

Many thanks for your patience and understanding to this new, fiercely indie boutique outfit and we hope we can update you with the news you want to hear very soon!
