Last week we had our annual "FI Bake Off", and what a turnout it was 😍

Not only did everyone fill up on various pastries and cakes all day, but we also raised money for the wonderful Macmillan in the North West as part of their coffee morning fundraiser!

Oh, and our lovely Rob took the remaining goodies over to foodcycle, an initiative to reduce food waste and support people struggling with the cost of living crisis.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to bake, donate and indulge as part of this delicious day!!

This time last week we had our summer away day!

We spent the day splashing around at Wild Shore Delamere, whizzing around on the ringo and completing the inflatable obstacle course (and for some of us, trying to avoid Scott 😂)

It was great to get the team together and enjoy a bit of sunshine for once!

Following NT Assure joining forces with Food Alert, we were tasked with creating a brand new website for them. (Food Alert is an award winning site after all 😉)

In just shy of 12 weeks, we planned and built a stunning new site, working closely with their designer to ensure brand unity, whilst retaining the same functionality and third-party integrations.

For we spoke to our apprentice Issy to find out more about her and why she chose to do an apprenticeship!

Here's what she had to say:

"I chose to do an apprenticeship because I've always had an interest in all things content, and I decided it was my perfect opportunity to get my foot in the door of the digital creator world!

I think the best part of the apprenticeship is the vast variety of skills you learn. I'm really enjoying my time at First Internet and can't wait to see what my future her entails.

Having completed four weeks, so far I've really enjoyed the apprenticeship and would recommend an apprenticeship to anyone considering one!"
