HLS Productions is once again creating another short student film! 😍

Whispering Walls is a short drama-horror, based on the short adventure an artistic college student takes to help her find inspiration for her final year piece. 🫣😶

Logline; "A young creative student, who is full of curiosity, tries to discover the past of a derelict building. But she discovers an unruly truth during her adventure …"

We are looking for 4 actors, with some dance experience, and 4 crew members. Those wanting to audition for a cast role must apply with a video-reel (this can be of a previous acting job or showcasing general talent) and must be 16 years and older. This is due to this short films genre sensitivity. Crew role applicants can apply with a resume of previous experience and/or skills.

⭐️Meet Carla!⭐️

HLS Productions, after many lengthy auditions, has chosen Carla to be 'Narrator' for our developing piece, 'The Truth'.

"Acting has been my lifelong passion but I didn’t begin pursuing it professionally until my mid 20s. The first part of my career was largely focused on stage productions and I have appeared in many roles that I’ve loved. Among my favorites were May in See Rock City, Cherie in Bus Stop and Izzy in Crossing Delancey. I then took a hiatus to move abroad and begin our family, and in the past two years I have been able to dive back in to the acting world again since my children are a bit older. This time around I am heavily involved in student film, commercial and voice over work as they are easier to juggle time wise along with three children and a husband with a busy work schedule! I absolutely adore breathing life into characters, scripts, books; whatever people out there create!" - Carla ❤️
