This year’s Annual Biz Women Awards marks a meaningful milestone for our organisation, celebrating 5 years of the Biz Women® network! It’s been beautiful seeing our community grow and thrive! This 24th of November, we will also launch BIZ WOMEN INVEST, a platform designed to support women-led businesses with new investment opportunities and financial education.
We’re coming together to honour the achievements of women in business across the UK. Including amazing leaders, change makers, and innovators who make an impact every day.

2024 you have been crazy 🤪
I feel like I’ve been living a dream but a great dream 💭

I had the most exciting email this morning to let me know I had been nominated with and to say I’m over the moon, wouldn’t even cut it 🤭

I will always feel blessed and humbled that my small business and the work we do has been noticed 🥹

I wish all the wonderful women who are up for awards the best of luck 🤞 I know all too well the blood, sweat and tears that go into running a business - and I salute you 🥰

I can’t wait to head to Manchester in November for the awards night and meet all these extraordinary ladies 😌

I sit here a mum and a Biz Women award nominee feeling immensely proud of myself.

Before typing this, I have already showered my youngest, got the bedding in the wash after her nappy leaked this morning, cleaned the mattress, and listened to arguments between both girls while sorting the mess out, and this has just been in the last half an hour, and it’s only 7am.

That’s the mum part of my life.

But on the business women front, I got a lovely surprise in my inbox last night.

Last year, I made it to the final of the BizWomen awards with this business Baby2Sleep, so to be nominated now for the work I’m doing with my newest business, The Workplace Sleep Coach is absolutely amazing. Side note, I have just set up the page for this, so please head over and give me a follow if you believe in my mission.

The last 8 months has seen a huge shift in my life and where I see the future of my businesses.

The main goal for me now is to make sleep as successful in 2025 as the menopause boom was in 2022. I’m still here supporting you as parents, but the big goal needs to be massive so it filters down to you all.

That might sound crazy for one person who isn’t an influencer or hasn’t got a marketing budget, but I’m hopeful that passion, evidence, hard work and recommendations from previous corporate clients will help me get the message out there about just how much poor sleep is impacting businesses and employees.

BUT…

I have the solutions. Loads of them.

I can support the SME’s and the giants.

I literally have every base covered to help employees thrive in their work life by improving sleep.

What’s more, this support works towards closing the gender gap.

How? I know, it’s a bold statement.

When businesses are working hard to get a more equal gender split amongst their employees, but are finding women are returning to work after maternity leave, burning out and leaving the workforce which is impacted greatly by poor sleep amount and quality, by improving the child’s sleep and the parents sleep, we can help businesses retain those excellent women who have their new skill set to add to their already incredible one, allowing them to flourish and thrive in both their personal and professional life.

Yes, sleep support really can make that big an impact.

Sleep has been my business for nearly 7 years now, and it started out helping babies, and has developed over the years, hence the newest business The Workplace Sleep Coach.

Driving change backed by evidence and fuelled by passion.

Huge congrats to our competition winners who won an amazing prize, of 2 premium tickets for pre-concert meal and drink at the new AO Arena VIP lounge called The Mezz tomorrow night followed by watching the Girls Aloud concert in style!
