Hi folks , sorry for lack of updates of our travels, things didn't quite go to plan 🤔
Just after Christmas Jim's mum had a stroke and sadly passed away .While we where in Scotland Jim had a heart attack , he's doing really well now. This was the reason for change of plans.
When we closed we were given some lovely vouchers that we have finally used .Thank you Lennie,Alan,Debbie and our breakfast crew 💙

We would like to put to rest any rumours going around and to let everyone no that We Will Not be transferring into the new market.
The reason we are not "going on this journey "with GYBC,is what we are being offered does not match what we are being forced to lose.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us at Barries Teastall for the last 70 years, ( personally for the last 17 )

Recent incidences of people getting far too close to pregnant seals trying to rest on Horsey beach have been echoed elsewhere in the UK. Seals are wild creatures and we understand that some people simply don't know how to behave around them.The advice is that no one should ever get any closer than 10 metres to a Seal. This makes signing a petition to strengthen the law to protect seals from disturbance all the more important. In order for it to be debated in parliament the petition needs at least 100,000 signatures. At the moment there are just 15,300 so this is where your signature could make a real difference. Please help. Thank you
