That Old Man of Hopton in the news again. I suspect there has been more experiences of this caper than gets into the mainstream.
A similar scenario at Halvergate turn off the Acle New Road, a mysterious shadowy figure in the road that vanishes on approach, the classic phantom jaywalker.
A couple of years ago Ghosted UK received a few messages possibly in regard to the Hopton case. No sightings but a terrible dread sensation near the Hopton turn off. You cannot really follow up such accounts just note them.
Bluebell Hill in Kent is well known for its phantom and even the local constabulary take such reports seriously as there have been many instances in which drivers have claimed to hit someone in the road and are clearly in shock when the emergency services arrive to find no victim despite a search of the area.

The wondrous St Marys with its legends, witches and phantoms. Hidden away in dark woodland. On this early morning visit the witches had carefully placed fresh rose petals, pink, red and purple around the foot of the cursed tree.
