On Thursday, we attended the Essex Wedding Awards and, unfortunately, didn’t take home a win this year. But what an incredible night it was, celebrating alongside so many talented friends and industry professionals who did receive the recognition they truly deserve! 👏

For us, being part of this amazing industry, surrounded by supportive friends, incredible venues, and outstanding suppliers, is worth far more than any trophy. 🏆

Over the past five years, we’ve proudly collected 10 awards—a milestone we could never have dreamed of. As we reflect on this incredible journey, we feel this marks the perfect moment to close our chapter on awards and focus on the next part of our Sweet Vibe journey.

With bigger and better plans in motion for 2025 and beyond, we’re so excited to share what’s next with you all. Thank you for all your continued love and support—our story isn’t slowing down; it’s only just beginning! 💥

“We got married on 4th October 2024 at Gaynes Park and had Daryl as our DJ for the evening. From start to finish Daryl was incredible with us. We had a couple phone calls and instantly knew Daryl was going to provide the best night. He was always so enthusiastic and we could tell he just loved his job. He took all our likes / dislikes on board and gave some really good suggestions throughout. On the day, Daryl was so friendly and excited for us and we felt like we’d known him for ages. The dance floor was always busy and everyone had such a good time. So many of our guests gave such good reviews and went out of their way to tell us how much they loved the music / vibes of the night. Daryl read the dancefloor so well and we are so glad we put all the trust into him. Couldn’t recommend Daryl enough and will certainly use him again for other celebrations we have!

From the date of booking our wedding, we knew we wanted a DJ who could cater to our music taste and give everyone a night to remember.
We then came across Daryl on Instagram, and we were blown away. Immediately, we arranged our first phone call, and we did not look back as we just knew Daryl was the man to DJ at our wedding. Daryl’s experience and passion for his job was evident, he really is a master of his craft.

From our first song, Daryl had everyone hooked and it’s fair to say no one left the dance floor all night. We knew Daryl was amazing from his content, but he was everything we hoped and more. He made our night and the memories we have from this are priceless.

UNREAL DJ!!

Booking Sweet Vibes was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We came across Daryl on Instagram, and we knew we had to book him right away! We told Daryl that we wanted a party, and he didn’t just deliver!—he absolutely SMASHED it!!

His talent and energy are on another level! The dance floor was never empty, and everything was perfect from start to finish! We knew he was good, but he completely blew us away and exceeded all expectations!

We’ve had non-stop praise and compliments from friends and family about how incredible our DJ was. It’s been nearly 2 months since our wedding, and people are still telling us about how good he was!

Daryl is a true professional, and it was an absolute pleasure to have him as part of our wedding, making our day an unforgettable experience. Absolute legend!

Where to begin…. Words can’t describe how lucky we are to work with such an amazing professional like Daryl on a regular basis at our venue Villiers Barn as our recommend supplier, but to have him perform at our very own wedding in Umbria Italy for our 3 day wedding weekend is something we will remember for the rest of our lives.

He is and always will be the life and soul of a party, his character but also complete professionalism shines through everytime we have the pleasure of working with him, but to be on the client side for once, made us truly realise why he is the best in the business!

We had compliments from every single one of our wedding guests on how brilliant he is, his constant smile and pure happiness cannot be replicated, and we will cherish every single moment he created for our wedding weekend, from the welcome party, to partying till 2am, and then topping it off with an epic pool party on the Sunday.

ABSOLUTELY UNREAL - WHAT A GUY, WHAT A PARTY
To be honest, before we even chose our wedding date my worst fear for our evening party was an empty dance floor and cheesy music. Before we booked our date, I came across Daryl’s page and from the countless 5* reviews with accompanying photos , I had a very strong suspicion he was going to be the DJ for us!! In fact, I first enquired on the day we booked our venue 🤣

We arranged a phone call and Daryl told me that he was available for our day. From the phone call alone, you could sense he was such a genuine person & an absolute vibe. As soon as the call was finished, I text my now husband at work and said I’ve found our DJ and we booked him on the same day. There was zero chance we were risking our date being taken!!

Daryl has an infectious energy about him and it radiated from moment he arrived at our venue - he had us, our guests and even the other wedding vendors laughing.

It’s clear to anyone that he has such a passion for his job and it really does shine through ✨ In fact, the next day one of our guests said to me “Your DJ was unreal and you can just tell that guy absolutely loves his job”.

The dance floor was never empty and our guests of all ages have not stopped talking about the party & Daryl himself !!

We decided to leave the music choices to Daryl, with us just picking one or two songs alongside our first dance and last song. We had a meeting prior to the wedding to discuss our likes and dislikes & Daryl did not disappoint on the night (We had no fear he would). The music was on point all evening, in fact I found myself running from various places in the venue to get back to the dance floor 😂

In all honesty, I would say DO NOT THINK TWICE about booking with Sweet Vibe Events!! It was the best decision we made and I would recommend Daryl a thousand times over. The evening party topped our amazing day off and it was fab to see our guests enjoying themselves so much.

“BEST DJ EVER!!

Where do you start with Daryl? From the first phone call it was 100% energy and commitment which carried through to our wedding day. We only wanted 1 thing and that was a busy dance floor all night and Daryl took care of that and then some!

His energy is second to none and you can’t help but join him at his level. The music is so important for a wedding and every song was banger after banger with a mixture to suit everyone! We had so many people come up to us during and after the wedding to say how good he is and one of the guests immediately booked for their wedding.

Daryl listened and understood to what we were looking for and nailed the brief! We both danced all night – so much so that we didn’t even know the evening food was served!

Nothing was a problem for Daryl, and he couldn’t help us enough to ensure our day run smoothly. We had a tight window for room turnaround which was shorter than his usual time, but like a magician, he pulled it out the bag and was there, bow-tie on, ready to party!

The upmost professional and complete showman, we couldn’t recommend Daryl highly enough and if anyone is unsure whether to book him for your event, there is nothing to be unsure of, he’s your man!
