Tom Heyes is a young digital photographer and graphic designer living in Great Barr, Birmingham, England. Photography is very important to him - its art, expression and variety. Tom usually uses digital cameras for his work, currently using a 700D SLR Canon Camera, however has also used film cameras for College and University Assignments (35mm and Medium Format). His main interests are wildlife,

landscape, documentary and still life photography and as well as photo-editing, using programmes such as Photoshop and InDesign to create digitally enhanced images & design layouts. Away from photography, Tom also a singer/musician (saxophone & clarinet) who sings and plays a wide range of music genres - swing, jazz, soul, pop, rock & country, regularly at social clubs, churches and parties. His main influences range from Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones and Elvis Presley to Barry White, David Bowie and The Beatles.

Bit soggy up the Hills but quieter than we've been in a long while. Interestingly, we find three things make the hills less busy - bad weather, hot weather over 25 degrees or really big sporting events like the Euros or Wimbledon. So if you like it a bit quieter, now is your time to visit.

Nimmings car park by the independent family run café is open 9am to 5pm with 75 spaces (£3 all day or use your National Trust membership card for a ticket) and additional parking at Walton Hill available 24/7
