It’s not every day you light a massive inflatable Candle with an aerial act inside it! A fun little outing for the Christmas Parade with our friends at Sound & Light Concepts Ltd.

That’s the end of a very busy Pyro+ season for us here at Boxed, we started in late October with a trip to Norfolk Showground for the first of 5 outings of a spectacular touring firework show.

2 weeks ago we deployed to London with a 4 day rig at Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival with our awesome friends at Fuse Fireworks.

The stats are in on this one…

Over the 4 rigging days and the Friday show, I did 57,680 steps walking just over 25.5 miles!

Then it was a drive across to Ealing for another Firework Spectacular again with the awesome people at Fuse.

A quick shower and it’s back to central London to support our friends at 42Live with 4 Live Streams across 2 days from Barbican Centre.

Finally, a drive North for 3 days supporting Theatre Royal Wakefield with the technical build of their 2024 Pantomime ‘Cinderella’.

Time for a day with the family before it all kicks off again next week!

Just recovering from a mammoth two days at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Onside Productions covering the NFL Academy broadcast on Tuesday night.

Once again, such an stunning piece of architecture and an absolute joy to get unfettered access to an amazing space and see it do what it does best!

Hugely proud to have provided tech support to the TRW in house team for the last 4 weeks on this fabulous production of Evita.

Two more days to go from tomorrow as we remove all of the production elements and return the Theatre back to how we found it.

An awesome weekend on Lighting duties for Dale Castell and the Our House Family at the Heffernan Utilities Stadium for our friends at Sound & Light Concepts Ltd.

I had an absolute blast and my feet are definitely feeling it today, I danced behind the desk for 9 hours solid!

Huge thanks to my sidekicks on the gig for looking after the tech and keeping me in Chocolate, Haribo and Squishies!

Plenty of our work on show in this review of 2023. We were present through the year from the Spring Markets and Kings Coronation through Summer at The Piece Hall, Calderdale Pride and then on to Christmas in the beautiful Spiegeltent. Thanks to everyone at The Piece Hall for another action packed year.
