The Film Sync Awards is a competition run by ASM - L'Association des Superviseurs Musicaux and UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors where artists, composers and producers set music to film. Submissions are judged by a jury of international music supervisors and I am delighted that a solo piano piece I co-wrote, performed and recorded with fellow musician and producer Iain Hutchison at GloWormRecording has been shortlisted this year from a pool of over 1,200 entries. David Scott from The Pearlfishers is playing live at The Scottish Crannog Centre on Saturday 21st June. David is a musical legend and a fantastic singer and storyteller. The gig is in aid of the reconstruction of the new crannog after the fire a few years ago.
