Jenna & Andrew - Teaser
Deep within a forest right at the south of Scotland, there’s Barwhillanty Estate and it’s awesome walled garden. There isn’t much known about it in the wedding industry as they only choose to do a couple of weddings a year however Jenna & Andrew were lucky enough to have the grounds to themselves and their guests. Let me break this day down for you…
The reason we all gathered here has to do with Jenna’s upbringing. Every year she would visit the area at a local caravan park with her family so it seemed fitting to get ready with the girls down at the Sandgreen Caravan Park. Georgia Buckley Make-Up Artist had the make up station organised to a tee and Hair And Make-Up - By Rachael McCall was getting all emosh every time someone new appeared in their dress! They had everyone looking effin awesome as you can see! Oh by the way… you may be wondering where Jenna got her flowers from? Tesco & Morrisons! Yep, really! How good did they look?
I headed off to Barwhillanty Estate to get all the final preparations done as we were having an outside ceremony, REGARDLESS OF THE WEATHER and the rain was threatening…. Brollies at the ready! There was a load of bustling about as everyone came together to get chairs sorted, orders of service handed out whilst I inspected the handy work of this DIY wedding. Jenna had created these wee hand made boxes full of tablet and the main theme of the tables tied in with Andrews love of craft beer! Each table had a few can’s on there for decoration of which Andrew had the hard job of downing before the big day, well done mate!
Ceremony time and at the wheel was Kathryn Ross Humanist Celebrant who despite the wee pitter patter of rain kept us all going until that smoochy smooch! Scott Arthur Photo and I went and explored the amazing estate and even had a wee race with Jenna & Andrew (I totally won by the way…)
There was a spit roast for dinner which I obviously got in about and once we were all st
Stacey & Fraser - Teaser
There’s this wee bar in Leith called Granary Leith which is definitely somewhere I’d stop off for a pint (AND BURGER, trust me it was delicious!) however Stacey & Fraser got MARRIED in the gorgeous Jig Room suite upstairs which had been decorated to a bloody fine standard by @daintypigdesigns
My day started at The Scotsman Hotell in Edinburgh City Centre. I met the girls and was bopping away to their 00’s playlist as they got ready with the help of Kimberly & Veronica from Star Hair Design & Beauty and Fionn Boyle Make-up Artist
I took on the Edinburgh traffic to make it over to the granary so I could hang out with all the arriving guests before Mark the Humanist called us all in for the ceremony. It turns out he had done the weddings of two thirds of the room! What a guy!
Stacey was wearing a super ruby wedding dress supplied by Eleganza Sposa with the help of her wee flower girls dropping petals beforehand!
Then… oh my god, right the photoshoot was awesome! Vicki from @willow and wild and I went to the Newhaven lighthouse, I took some clips of waves among other things… The colours of the rustic old building along with the beautiful coastal sea vibe was awesome! Oh we also snuck out at sunset and got some sexy sunset shots BABY!
RIGHT, DANCE TIME! Skyline were in charge and the rocked the place! Solo riff’s vocals to die for, it was so cool to see a wedding band like that! I heard the last dance of the night was Rage Against The Machine… wish I had seen that!
As you can tell from the teaser, GOOD TIMES WERE HAD!
AMY & SEAN - TEASER
Somewhere near Biggar sits Cormiston Farm, a DIY wedding venue with loads of character! The wee gem of a venue played host to the EPIC wedding of Amy & Sean.
I started my day with Amy and the girls (plus Dad) over in Carluke where Cameo Bridal Styling and Rachel Louise Make Up Artist had everyone looking GLAM! I said CHEERIO as I left for St Athanasius Chapel where I met Sean waiting patiently at the top of the aisle. Oh, their dog, Olive was also hanging around being looked after by Hounds & Heritage Weddings who was also waiting for her mum to arrive!
Amy turned up wearing something gorgeous supplies by Eleganza Esposa and her stunning flowers by The Flower Barn. DAMN…
A short journey south for my first time at this awesome wee farm where Amy & her mum had styled it all themselves, it looked amazing, more to come on that soon!
Karolina Kotkiewicz Photography and I had such an easy shift working with Amy & Sean, they were naturals in front of the camera, it was a blast to be there with them :D.
These guys had promised me a party and they did not disappoint! It's No' Reel Ceilidh Band had us Stripping the Willow, Stomping, screaming, hollering and other things you do at ceilidhs before the DJ set gave us some 00’s nostalgia!
Amazing day, awesome couple!
The sun was setting… two warriors grabbed their weapons.. and decided to batter the hell out of each other! Who you got??
Leanne and Stevie wanted the fun of their day captured and when these two stepped up, I couldn’t help myself but document the drama unfold!
Tag someone you think you could take down in a baton war?
Who’s going to be left standing at the end of your wedding? This lot gave it their all til the very end!
“AFTERGLOW” - Light or radiance remaining in the sky after the sun has set.
🧀 When the sun sets on your wedding day, your film will radiate for a life time baby!!! 🧀
Cheesy but so damn true 😁
I wanted the sunset to play a part of my new branding as Afterglow is totally connected to it! Now I need to go buy a rocking sunset neon sign 😁

Kirsty & Fergus invited me along to #dunblanecathedral to film their wedding in stunning surroundings! I mean… this cathedral was bloody gorgeous! Kirsty was taken care of in the morning with the expertise and banter of Laura Gray (Hair.Beauty.Bridall ) before arriving at the ceremony by horse drawn carriage courtesy of McIndoe Horse Drawn Carriages
Kirsty wore a Callablanche Dress from Sophia Grace Couture and her beautiful flowers were arranged by Trudi Todd Flowers
Her dad walked her up to the Cathedral where they met Fergus standing at the end of the aisle with himself and ushers all kitted out in Moss Bros finest!
They hired Jonathan Addie Photography to capture the photos of the day and seriously go check him out! I’ve seen some of the shots of the day and it just looks incredible! We had such a fun time with these two when we moved onto our next stop! I could hear saxophone blaring across Tullibody as John Kennedy WeddingSaxophonist had the rhythm flowing already at Inglewood House and Spa which had already been kitted out by the wonderfully talented A Little Bit of Loveliness and Eze Events before the evenings much anticipated shindig! Callanish Music had this lot throwing mad shapes and considering the Cambridge contingent were in the house, I was impressed by the Ceilidh skills! 😂
What a day guys! Thanks for having me along and I hope you enjoy your teaser!

Becky & Wullie decided to party HARD at their wedding at the Dalmeny Park House Hotel recently. The girls started their day by getting ready at my new favourite bar, Boyd’s Bar before joining Wullie and the rest of the wedding Party to get married by the brilliant Celebrant Tom Elliot.
Ryan Mimiec Photography was busy making everyone look stunning infant of the lens whilst the rhythm kept us all grooving courtesy of Chris C Music - Saxophone & Flute.
Lets talk abut the party though… Singing Servers almost toppled the Top Table when they started after dinner before we danced for hours, seriously, no one left the dance floor!
This was so much fun and I can’t wait to share the rest of the wedding with you all!

Beachy vibes were happening down at The Waterside with Gemma & Craig. If you dreamt of a summer wedding in Scotland, you couldn't ask for much more than this! Norrie Flowers ran the show and told the story of these two in front of their closest family and friends before Chris Guthrie Scott Photography lead us to the Beach for some stunning sunset shots!
Colin could only make an appearance via 'Blow up doll' as he was stuck in Australia but the party knew how to get him involved regardless!
