There’s a passion for those intimate moments that runs through our veins, a passion bound to our heritage. Just as generations evolve within the family circle, so too should our visual legacies. Our movies capture that key connection; that authentic spark.

A Mingary Castle wedding has a way of feeling written into the landscape long before the day arrives.

For Danielle and Rich, Mingary Castle on the Ardnamurchan peninsula was always going to be part of their story. It was one of the first places they visited together. A Macdonald family castle surrounded by sea cliffs and open horizon. The kind of setting that naturally feels cinematic, without ever pulling focus from the people at the centre of it all.

Their Mingary Castle wedding in Ardnamurchan leaned fully into that atmosphere. Steep drops to the water. Wind moving constantly through the space. Weather that keeps you present. From the start, they were clear that the landscape mattered deeply to them. They wanted a film that held onto that feeling, not just as a backdrop, but as something woven into the memory of the day.

Danielle comes from a film background and took time comparing our work with other filmmakers. They chose us because the films felt considered and professional, while still leaving room for emotion and story to lead. That trust allowed us to work instinctively, capturing the wide, cinematic moments alongside the quiet ones that often say the most.

The ceremony closed with a smoke firework launch, timed perfectly at the end. A burst of colour cutting through the Ardnamurchan air, grounding the day in something playful and completely personal. It was one of those moments that only works because it is true to the couple and the place they chose.

If you are planning a Mingary Castle wedding or dreaming of a Scottish castle celebration that feels honest, atmospheric, and deeply personal, we would love to tell your story.

A Ballintaggart Farm wedding has a way of quietly changing people’s minds about what a wedding film can be.

Ilona and Mitch were not planning on having video at all. They describe themselves as awkward nerds and assumed being filmed would feel uncomfortable. Then, separately, they both cried watching our films of people they had never met. That was the moment it clicked. This was not about the wedding day itself. It was about holding onto a feeling and being able to return to it years from now.

Their wedding at Ballintaggart Farm in Highland Perthshire was intimate in the best way. Just 27 guests, one very chilled baby, and a room full of people who genuinely cared. Every detail felt thoughtful without ever feeling showy. Handwritten letters for every guest, including us. Personalised recipe packs instead of favours. Ceilidh dancing as the spring sun dropped low and warm behind the hills.

Ballintaggart is something special. It is a working farm, a cook school, and a place built around food and connection. If you are travelling across the Atlantic for a destination wedding in Scotland, it makes complete sense to do it somewhere that understands hospitality at this level. Intimate weddings are what they do, and it shows in every corner of the experience.

If you are planning a Ballintaggart Farm wedding or dreaming of something smaller, slower, and deeply personal, this is one worth watching.

A Lochside wedding at Dunskey Estate always feels special for us, but this one landed a little closer to home.

Lizzie is family to the owners, so this was never going to feel like just another wedding. It felt personal from the moment we arrived. Familiar faces. A team we know well. A place we have spent a lot of time in, both working and quietly soaking it up in between seasons.

It was also the first time we have filmed a ceremony on the dock itself. Standing there watching vows unfold, it was hard not to think back to cold water swims in November, grey skies, breath fogging in the air. Seeing the same spot transformed by clear blue summer light and a breathtaking floral arch felt surreal in the best way.

That is one of the things we love about Dunskey. It shifts with the seasons but never loses its sense of calm. The loch holds everything. The stillness. The laughter. The weight of a family gathering to celebrate something meaningful.

Being trusted to film a family wedding here meant a lot to us. Not just as filmmakers who know the estate inside out, but as people welcomed into a day that was full of warmth, history, and genuine connection.

If you are planning a lochside wedding in Scotland and want a film that understands the rhythm of the place as much as the people in it, we would love to be there.

A bride and groom first look in Scotland, soundtracked by the skirl of pipes and framed by centuries of stone .

Barcaldine Castle held the morning as mist and rain rolled through Glencoe beyond its walls. This was one of those elopements where the weather became part of the story. Rain on skin and clothes. Cloud shifting constantly. Light changing minute by minute. Nothing polished. Nothing staged. Just real moments unfolding exactly as they were meant to.

They chose Scotland for the freedom to marry outdoors in a humanist ceremony and for landscapes that feel alive. Glencoe delivered that in full. Buachaille Etive Mor standing firm in the rain. Rivers cutting through the moor. A sense of scale that makes everything else fall quiet.

From the start, they knew film mattered to them. They wanted movement and sound. Their children’s voices. Wind through the grass. Laughter. A poem read softly. Not just memories for themselves, but a way for family and friends to experience the day as if they were there. And something deeper to return to years from now.

This first look set the tone for everything that followed. Calm. Emotional. Unrushed. Two people choosing presence over perfection, in a place that asks you to do exactly that.

If you are dreaming of a Scottish Highlands wedding film that feels honest and full of life, we would love to tell your story.
