I love this photo I took today at the opening of the Tepe Sigeman & Co Chess Tournament. Boris Gelfand (54) is winding a mechanical watch, a gesture that only accentuates the generational gap with the players sitting next to him: Vincent Keymer (18), Arjun Erigaisi (19) and Gukesh (16).
