Well hello there! It's been a while.

Even though I've not been here on the page, I've been busy behind the scenes as always. Sales continue as normal, and I'm thankful for them. Please do continue to use my online shop, or contact me through WhatsApp or messenger. I'm always around even when you're not hearing me talk rubbish on here! Life just got a bit hectic lately, lots to deal with 😐

Some lovely news though, one of my little book angels has flown back to me. Delighted to have Ashleigh back in the team, and excited to see where her dreams take her this time. Helllooooo, I'm still here! Just busy busy and lots of changes to routine. Hope you're all well?

I've got a one-off here for anyone who wants it. Little.bit of damage to the box during the delivery. (It wouldn't matter to anyone else, but since I know it's there I have to do this). My snap sets are usually £5.99, I'm selling this for £4 due to the little tear in the pack. Makes absolutely no difference to the gorgeous snap cards, and might be ideal for anyone planning a trip to the zoo this summer, or just for a rainy day activity for days like today.

Today is the last day of the school morning routine for us for a whole summer!! ☀️

No more listing the things I need them to do, and then listing it again when I come back and find them in the same position, and then again when I tell them how long it is until the bell. Well, at least until August!

Grown-ups who belong to school aged children, I have a question for you..... are you knackered?

🤣I'm absolutely jiggered. I think the last week's of school EVERYTHING gets squeezed in and there's. Lot of info and events chucked at us. My brain is a very busy place trying to remember all the various things I need to apply or be present at. What about you?

On World Refugee Day I have to show you the most beautiful book to help you learn about one of the most difficult subjects.

Usborne do this so well. Breaking down the facts and sharing them in an informative, sensitive and helpful way, to answer questions that sometimes stump us, about subjects that can be hard to discuss. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Compassion shouldn't be something we have to strive for, but unfortunately not everyone thinks like us 💔

Now, in case you hadn't noticed, I'm Scottish. And summer in Scotland is a very complicated time. There's taps aff Tuesday. Then there's the days when you happily put your washing out at first light, only to race back to the garden in a hailstorm to save it. And that's after you've been at the park for three hours and the hailstones hurt your sunburn.

There's the fact that while you're all off enjoying the school holidays, a hundred English folk will tell you 'oh, that's soooo early. We're not stopping for ages yet'. We know. We have lived this.

There's that one glorious day when EVERYONE in Scotland fancies a salad. And there's no salad to be had anywhere. What are you supposed to have with your cold meat, grated cheese and chips??? It's madness I tells ye

And don't even get me started on the midges

Anyhoo.... If you've read this far you deserve a treat, and here it is..... this little summer make and do is BRAND NEW and ready to be used during the holidays when you're at your wits end. And not only is it available from me, but I've reduced it to a fiver which is a steal really (RRP £6.99).

Do I worry? Yes I do! A lot.

Do I need to do this much worrying? Nope. But I can't help myself. So today I decided enough was enough.

I did a big thing. (For me)

I've not been in a swimming pool for nearly 5 years, and today I thought sod it and put on the new costume and got in with my weans.

Did I worry? Nah, not really. I had a word with myself. And if anyone was looking at me funny it didn't matter cos I had my glasses off and couldny see them 🤣

It's a big deal for me. Not just the being in public in an uncomfortable situation and attire. But there's feet in there. Bare feet! Including mine 😱

If I can do it, you can do whatever it is you've been putting off through fear or worrying or anxiety. Do the thing! (Then come n tell me about it and I'll give you a virtual high five and a pat on the back).
