🌟✨ Last night was an absolute riot! 🎤 Huge thanks to the incredible lineup that had us in stitches all night long! 🤣 A massive shoutout to the fabulous host Viv Gee, the local gem Glorious Gaynor, and the hilarious headliner Gary Faulds – you guys brought the house down! 🙌 Not forgetting Billy Kirkwood - Comedian who had to pull a Houdini before the photo op, and Scott Murphy who was ejected shortly after his set for giving a seal a square go 😄

To our fantastic audience, you really are the heartbeat of our show. Get ready for another night of Pure Laughs on 2nd November at the !

We're thrilled to announce our fantastic host for the evening – the one and only Julia Sutherland! 🤣🎤
Julia's comedy journey is a hilarious tale in itself. She originally joined forces with Fred MacAulay as his radio co-host, but her life took an unexpected turn when she stumbled into stand-up during an on-air stunt over 15 years ago. 😂
Now, she's known for her witty and insightful observations and her deeply personal confessional comedy style. Her 2015 show, "Fat Chance," at the Glasgow International Festival was so good it got picked up by BBC Radio 4! 📻
Julia's comedic talents didn't stop there. She co-wrote the comedy play 'Jail Mates' with Gary Little, which received rave reviews (***** The Stage) at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2016 and was even commissioned as a four-part sitcom for BBC Radio Scotland! 🤩
But that's not all! She also co-wrote the BBC Radio Scotland sitcom "Homework" and starred in it alongside Sanjeev Kohli and Miles Jupp. Julia has graced the airwaves as a panellist on Radio Scotland's "Breaking the News" and performed stand-up on "BBC Radio 4 Extra Stands Up." 📻
On top of her radio success, Julia has an impressive list of TV credits, including appearances on shows like "Rory Bremner's Rory Goes To Holyrood" and "Scotland's Historic Year" on BBC Two, as well as "The Comedy Underground," "Sanjeev's Big Talk," "Scotland Made Me," and "Growing Up Scottish" on BBC Scotland! 📺
