Do you know your Facebook audience? 🤔
Here on Facebook, there are 2,740 million active users per month. The platform’s user base is also most broadly representative of the population as a whole. But who is using Facebook in 2021, and what do they want to see on their timeline?
Contrary to popular belief, Facebook remains the dominant platform for young adults (aged 25-34). These millennial users are heavily influenced by Facebook advertising and require mobile-friendly content that’s easy to consume on the go.
Interestingly, there's also been a steady rise in Facebook usage within the Baby Boomer generation. These users are all about engaging video content that they can share with friends and peers. In fact, Baby Boomers are 19% more likely to share content than any other demographic.
