Three years ago today, we flung open our doors. We stayed open a LOT longer than originally planned, but we still miss you all!

We apologise that things have been a little quiet around here recently, but as restrictions continue to ease, real-life has been increasingly busy (not to mention the football has been on too ...)!
This past weekend, a team of members from The Stayin' Inn Community took part in our second Off the Beatson Track x The Stayin' Inn event in aid of the Beatson Cancer Charity - and we're thrilled to say that we smashed through our target of £10,000 raised (you can still donate to any member of the team here: justgiving.com/team/thestayininn2021)
That takes our fundraising total from The Stayin' Inn to an astronomical £116,392, with almost £68,000 of that going to the Beatson!
We're extremely proud of that achievement and we couldn't have done it without you! We may even host a little quiz to celebrate ...

We're very excited about Off the Beatson Track x The Stayin' Inn this Sunday - and not only because the weather is looking glorious! We can't wait to get out and walk that 10km (👀) with you all!
Our team has so far been sponsored to the tune of just under £5,500 for the Beatson Cancer Charity - but we've got last years total of £17,000 to aim for. If you're taking part, we will be meeting in the Whitelee Windfarm car park from 11am to distribute t-shirts and badges, with an aim to do a quick warmup with Ferri Fit before heading off on our walk. It should take no more than 3 hours to complete the loop. The weather is supposed to be sunny and warm, but it is Scotland, so prepare appropriately! If you've not signed up to take part yet, follow the instructions in the event page!
Please also note, the Eaglesham access Road to Whitelee Windfarm is closed. You will need to access from the A77.
Later this week we'll be joining two of our good friends, Graeme and Geo from The Hole Way Round, for a round of golf as they continue their warmup to playing 95-holes in ONE DAY in support of ArCaS Arran Cancer Support Trust and Calums Cabin later this month.
This charity challenge is part of The Hole Way Round's goal of playing every golf course in Scotland (over 550 of them!) - so if you can, drop them a little donation here today: justgiving.com/team/theholewayround.

Last night we hosted our first ever LIVE Stayin' Inn event at SWG3 and we had a blast - the night wouldn't have been complete without a technical glitch or two, plus a live "Andy" (or two!)
One thing we forgot to do last night was thank everyone involved in making the events happen - Courtney & Liam from BH Media for taking care of all the behind the scenes stuff, the SWG3 staff for security, tech help and manning the bar, the Five Star Sodas team for all their help, Jenny for her quiz writing help and of course to all of you for buying the tickets and making the event a success!
Hopefully this is the beginning of the return for more events and we'll see more of you out and about very soon!
