Just a thought but has the Doctor himself ever come face to face with Mrs. Flood at any point during this series? He says he'd recognize Susan if he ever looked in her eyes, but if he's never actually seen Mrs Flood during all his comings and goings around Ruby's house there's no reason why SHE couldn't have been Mrs Susan Flood all along. It'd certainly explain all those knowing remarks about 'never having seen a Tardis before', etc.

We use to have proper dialogues, stories, acting, emotions (when needed)😬. I have been rewatching some of Matt Smith era and although I do not hate the new Who and the actors, it’s just miles apart imo .. I miss that quality.
