Second hour is a Producer Special featuring the incredible sounds of Demarkus Lewis who is one of my favourite producers! Ok, I know amongst musicians and producers Spotify can be a little controversial, and tbh as I often listen to my kid's music in the car I didn't expect it to be very accurate...but this certainly reflects my listening well.

Massive thanks to the artists for the music that makes my heart sing and my soul fulfilled. Incidentally, I have also purchased all my top songs to fully support the artists.

The face of a woman who has finally managed to get prescribed to help with symptoms of 😁🙌

Honestly, it is no laughing matter for many, many women...yoyo-ing between savage rage and utter despair and suicidal thoughts...peri/menopause can be very serious for some and isn't just the hot flashes most talk about....

Anyway, I'll prob do a little video at some point as too much to write here, but after battling for over year I can finally see if the helps make life more manageable....watch this space...just need my period to hurry up so I can start!!

Ok, so due to my ongoing mental health issues, and the neurodivergence, I'm not always good at posting things 😅

I mean to. I think about it. But then I don't actually do it!

So, much later than intended, I wanted to share some of the official photos from back in the summer when I played at Q***r Spirit Festival in Devon.

It was a beautiful reminder for me of the origins of House music, which was deep set in the Q***r community. When House music was born, it became a safe haven for the black and gay communities. A place to express themselves. There is nothing better than seeing people feel free to be themselves and FEEL the music. There were some awesome outfits, brilliant dancing and a welcoming vibe.

The side of being a DJ no one sees...

I may not plan a set in it's entirety, but I still put a lot of prep in. With fhe gig or show in mind, I will think about creating a vibe, I will get a bunch of tunes together in a folder or in my record box.

Then, I'll decide how to put them together in the moment, during the set, influenced by the vibe, the people and my own emotions.
