We had a blast at the showcase of some of our music school students.

One of our teachers organised this event to give students an opportunity to perform and gain confidence and live performance experience.

It was a fantastic evening and lovely vibe at the fabulous .music.workshop ❤️🎶❤️

Music Venue Trust can’t begin to quantify what effect the loss of The Chambers will have, not just on Folkestone but the whole of the region and beyond. When a grassroots music venue has been serving its community and the industry for over 25 years, as Liz and Chris have at the helm of The Chambers, we lose count of the number of artists, sound engineers, tour managers, agents and promoters who have used the space and benefited from having it as a platform.

In the 26 years since opening, the Chambers audiences and regulars have spanned generations, with the venue remaining a crucial cultural and community focal point for thousands upon thousands over the years.

The passion and graft of Liz and Chris represents the very best of our sector. We wish it didn’t require so much sacrifice from individuals to keep grassroots music venues like The Chambers running and serving their community. But unfortunately until GMVs receive due recognition and impactful financial support to underpin the risky research and development of the grassroots talent they are platforming, the burden is on the sector and the individuals behind the scenes. So, all power to Chris and Liz for performing this role for 26 years.

Today we celebrate The Chambers remarkable achievements, and thank Liz, Chris and the team for their energy, drive and vision and wish them the very best for the future. We hope that the stage won’t be quiet for long and a new operation might take over the venue and continue the legacy they’ve gifted Folkestone.

We are very excited about our upcoming release:- "I'm Good Now"

Featuring the amazing Florence Glen, this track came to life through a collaboration between Florence and Sophia.

As their friendship grew, they discovered they were both navigating similar experiences, having been let down by certain people and situations. This song captures the strength and closure that came from leaving it all behind and moving forward.

RELEASE DATE: 11.12.24 :)

We are going to miss Chris's weekly videos. Whatever you've got planned this week, cancel it and get to The Chambers for the very last events ever!

We owe these guys so much appreciation for a whopping 26 year's of magical musical memories.

The artists they've brought to our fabulous Folkestone have been a wonderful array of talent from across the globe!

The service, smiles, warm welcomes and pure joy from the entire team and family at The Chambers is unprecedented and we are forever grateful to you all for being absolute legends!!

See you there to celebrate the last week with some wonderful events and hugs and no doubt tears. X###x
